Palm Beach County Native Wins PGA Championship For Second Year In A Row

Palm Beach County native Brooks Koepka has won the PGA Championship for the second straight year.

The 29-year old joins Tiger Woods as the only golfer to win the PGA in back-to-back years since 1958.

The win marks Koepka's fourth major in the last two years. He also won back-to-back U.S. Opens.

Koepka carded a 4-over 74 on Sunday, but rallied back to beat Dustin Johnson by 2 strokes, finishing the tournament at 8-under.

The Jupiter resident, who was born in Wellington, Florida, takes home more than just the 27 pound Wanamaker Trophy. He earned $1.98 million. That's the same amount Koepka won after winning the 2018 PGA Championship.

Dustin Johnson, who finished in second place, takes home $1.19 million.
