The Tampa Bay Lightning (1-3-2) fell to the Columbus Blue Jackets (2-3-0) 3-2 on Saturday night in Columbus. It was the second loss in as many nights after falling to Detroit 2-1 in overtime on Friday night in Detroit.
The Lightning got goals from Ryan McDonagh and Anthony Cirelli in the first to take a 2-1 lead. After the Blue Jackets tied the game in the second, Kirill Marchenko scored at the 1:15 mark in the third period to take the lead which would prove to be the game winner for Columbus.
The Lightning finished 1-1-2 on their four game road trip, earning four of a possible eight points. They are now off until Thursday when they return home to host the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night. Puck drop Thursday is scheduled for 6:45 PM from Amalie Arena.
