TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Vladislav Namestnikov to a one-year contract worth an AAV of $2.5 million, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced.
Namestnikov, 6-foot, 180 pounds, played in 75 games last season between the Detroit Red Wings and Dallas Stars, recording 16 goals, and 30 points. He also played in seven Stanley Cup Playoff games with Dallas, registering a goal and 2 points.
The Zhukovskiy, Russia native returns to the Lightning, who drafted him in the first round, 27th overall, of the 2011 NHL Draft. He has skated in 553 games with Tampa Bay, Dallas, Detroit, the New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators and Colorado Avalanche, amassing 107 goals and 236 points with 17 goals on the power play and 13 game-winners.
Namestnikov has played in 48 career Stanley Cup Playoff games with Tampa Bay, Colorado and Dallas. He has notched six goals and 11 points in those contests.
