C.H. Guenther & Son LLC recalled its 365 Whole Foods Market Small Bites Macaroni & Cheese on Friday (March 14) due to the undeclared presence of a common allergen.

According to the United States Food & Drug Administration, the recalled product, distributed to Whole Foods stores nationwide (including those in Florida), contains "undeclared egg and meat ingredients" which poses the risk of a "serious or life-threatening allergic reaction" to individuals allergic to the ingredients not listed on the product labels.

Consumers should avoid 365 Whole Foods Market Small Bites Macaroni & Cheese with UPC Code 99482499709 and Best By Date 11/29/25 purchased between 2/6/2025 and 3/11/2025.

There have been no allergic reactions reported as a result of consuming the mislabeled product. Officials are urging consumers who have already purchased the recalled product to return it for a full refund (with proof of receipt), or "destroy" it.

Following the incident, the company assured it "takes allergies and food safety seriously and has implemented preventative measures to prevent any future occurrences."
