AM Tampa Bay chooses a different restaurant to highlight in the Tampa area each week. This week, we're going to Lakeland to LoveBird Almost Famous Chicken.
I took a trip to LoveBird on Thursday, and when I tell you that I had the best fried-chicken sandwich of my life, I genuinely mean it. They are known for their Nashville Hot Chicken, but I just got a fried chicken sandwich without the chicken tossed in anything, and it was AMAZING!
All of their chicken is brined for at least 24 hours and is never frozen.
Their side dishes also had their unique twists, and I loved it! Jalapeno bacon roasted corn, bourbon baked beans, gouda mac & cheese, and more!
