Metropolitan Ministries Helping Hands Virtual Food Drive


AM Tampa Bay was on-site and broadcasting at the Met Min Big Tent this morning to help raise money for Metropolitan Ministries at the Helping Hands Virtual Food Drive.

Jack Harris and Aaron Jacobson spoke to several local businesses about their work with Metropolitan Ministries and the generous donations they made to help families in the greater Tampa Bay Area.

More than ever, donations are crucial to ensure those in need have food on the table this holiday season.

Dustin Portillo, Community Relations for the Caspers Company McDonald's, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss their passion for doing good in the Tampa Bay community and their incredible donation of $25,000 to the Metropolitan Ministries Helping Hands Food Drive.

Attorney Joseph Pippen, who hosts the show “Ask an Attorney” Sunday Mornings on Newsradio WFLA, joined AM Tampa Bay to give a $5,000 check for Metropolitan Ministries Helping Hands Food Drive.

Bob Passwaters, Hooters Organization, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss the work they've done with Metropolitan Ministries and the 2021 Hooters Calendar. They have been donating to 40 Turkey every year for ten years.

Justine Burke, Vice President of Marketing for Metropolitan Ministries, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss the Helping Hands Virtual Food Drive and how many families these donations will help around the Tampa Bay Area.

Cole Hoerner, GenerX Generators, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss it is GenerX Generators 6th year of donating 200 Turkeys to currently two for the Metropolitan Ministries HOPE drive.

Scott Fink, CEO of Fink Auto Group (Hyundai New Port Richey, Hyundai Wesley Chapel, Chevrolet of Wesley Chapel, Volkswagen of Wesley Chapel), joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss how he is a major supporter and ambassador for Metro's cause. Fink's Auto Group company does food drives and donates funds regularly.

Shane Donaldson of Pinnacle Home joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss how they donated $10K to Metropolitan Ministries at the Helping Hands Food Drive and building 500 food boxes.
