The DROPKICK MURPHYS are teaming up with BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN for a unique performance from Fenway Park . . . for NO FANS.
Two Fridays from now, on the 29th, the Dropkick Murphys will play ON THE DIAMOND. This is the first, and possibly the only, time a band plays on the infield at Fenway.
During the show, they'll be joined remotely by Bruce to play two songs . . . one of theirs and one of his. The concert will be live-streamed, and they'll be raising money for Boston-area charities.

Metallica Announce Limited Edition Whiskey Box Set
Some music ages like fine wine, but some fine whiskeys age to Metallica. The legendary rockers launched its Batch 100 limited-edition box set of Blackened American Whiskey yesterday. The set pairs with two 12" vinyl picture discs of Metallica's playlist used in the distilling process.
The "Black Noise" custom sonic-enhancement process plays a unique mix of Metallica's rare, live, and studio recordings from its long career which was curated by master distiller/blender Rob Dietrich, at such a low frequency that it assists in the actual making of the liquor. The low vibrations "pummel the black brandy casks during the finishing process, agitating the whiskey and extracting more flavor from the wood," according to the press release.
Earlier this month, Metallica announced that throughout May they would host an ‘All Within My Hands Month Of Giving’ charity pledge to raise funds for coronavirus relief. The band have already hosted live stream concerts and auctioned off merch to help alleviate the impact of coronavirus, this incentive will see them pledge themselves for the Month Of Giving.
