Frank Strom, Director of Hillsborough County’s Consumer & Veterans Services, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss that the 55th Hillsborough Veterans Tribute.
Hillsborough County Consumer & Veterans Services and the Veterans Council of Hillsborough County will host the 55th Annual Veterans Day Tribute on Monday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. at Hillsborough County’s Veterans Memorial Park and Rear Admiral LeRoy Collins, Jr. Veterans Museum.
This year's event will include a ribbon-cutting to formally debut five new fitness stations.
Another component to the day is that the Veterans Resource Center on the grounds of the park will again serve as headquarters for Operation: REVEILLE.
Operation: REVEILLE is a partnership lead by the Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative (THHI) to place veterans experiencing homelessness into ready-to-move-in apartments that day.
