Members of Foo Fighters, Guns N Roses, Pearl Jam & More Form New Supergroup
Some of your favorite rockers came together over the weekend to form an “all-star” supergroup. Members of Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more hit the stage for an epic conclusion to Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready’s Peak To Sky music festival.
Billed as “All-Star Friends,” McCready served up some covers along with G'N'R bassist Duff McKagan, Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, Foos drummer Taylor Hawkins, and Brandi Carlile.
The power group treated the crowd to renditions of hits by Van Halen, Aerosmith, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Queen and more.

Former Greta Van Fleet Manager Says They Weren’t Ready For “SNL”
Greta Van Fleet had a great start to 2019. The newcomers made their “Saturday Night Live” debut back in January, and won Best Rock Album at the GRAMMYs the next month. Regardless, they’ve gotten a bad rap from some music publications… and their former manager Michael Barbee thinks he knows why they couldn’t make their big break count.
In a new interview, Barbee says the band has to play “catch up” after losing momentum. Not only because they canceled a chunk of their European tour due to health problems following their GRAMMY win, but also because he thinks they weren’t “remotely ready” for their “SNL” performance. Plus, all those Led Zeppelin comparisons take their own toll on the band’s reception.
“They have a lot of Led Zeppelin fans, and when the fans don’t get Zeppelin songs, they’re like, ‘I’m disappointed,’” he explains. “Then ‘Saturday Night Live’ happened way too soon. I think that hurt them, they should have waited another year.”
