The Cross-Bay Ferry Is Now Permanent

The Cross-Bay Ferry is here to stay in the Tampa Bay area.

The ferry operates between Vinoy Basin in downtown St. Petersburg and The Florida Aquarium Wharf next to Sparkman Wharf in the Channel District of downtown Tampa.

The Ferry offers many amenities and is unique because it connects the Bay area in a new way by water taxi.

The Cross-Bay Ferry was set to operate between November 1, 2018, and April 30, 2019, between downtown St. Petersburg and downtown Tampa.

However, it was announced yesterday at the Florida Aquarium that the Cross-Bay Ferry is here to stay.

There are no further details released on what the new set schedule for the permanent ferry will be.
