Paul Ryan is not very well liked among American voters, especially those who voted for Donald Trump. The one man gang has been pouring molasses over Trump agenda, slowing down some very important pieces of Trumps campaign promises.
The failed Health Care Bill can be laid right at Ryan’s feet. He couldn’t muster up the votes and embarrassed Trump, who is new at this gamesmanship. It appears Ryan is not a big fan of repealing Obamacare.
Now Ryan wants to hold up financing of The Wall until 2018. That was the centerpiece of Trumps campaign to build a wall to keep illegals out of the southern border. Its not going to happen this year, and based on the strength the Democrats are showing, it may never happen. Democrats harvest voters from the illegal lot, they don’t want to cut off their supply of future voters.
Over all, the first 100 days have not been as impressive as you would have wanted. A lot of stuff still in limbo and not even on the drawing board.
Who do we blame? An inexperienced White House, or a very experienced Paul Ryan.
I think it’s a combination of both. Republicans better get on the ball and make those promises come true, or they will be in danger of losing the majority come 2018
