WATCH & LISTEN Webb's World

WEBB’s WORLD 3/1/2017

I didn’t watch the Academy Awards Show the other night.  You could not have paid me to watch it. I knew in advance it would be a night long attack on President Donald Trump; Hollywood without a cause. Normally they wear different colored ribbons for various causes, this year the cause was “Hillary Lost!”

It gets boring hearing the many different actors and MC lob joke after joke at Trump’s expense, and lecturing us on our way of life.  They think they set the moral standards for America.

There is a mindset in Hollywood, that homosexuality is the most important thing in the world. That no matter how bizarre the homosexuality gets with various trans discriptions, we must not only tolerate it, accept it, but must celebrate it

That’s where I get off the bus.  I don’t care what your sexuality is, I’ve never cared. I treat everyone the same with the same respect. But please don’t try to slam it down my throat.

The winner for best picture was an easy pre Oscar pick for me. Moonlight featured a young black boy who had to come to terms with his sexuality. You guessed it, he was bullied because he was gay. We have a winner, it encompasses every aspect; He’s black. He’s gay, and he’s bullied.

It relieved the Academy of the racist stain of not having a black nominated for two years, and the gays have to be happy too.

That’s How I see it!
