The Tampa Bay Rays (37-23) defeated the Miami Marlins (29-35) 6-0 on Friday night in Miami. With the win, the Rays snapped their losing skid at three games.
Drew Rasmussen (5-2, 3.00) was dominant in this one, pitching seven shutout innings in which he allowed just one hit while striking out nine and walking none. Junior Caminero and Yandy Diaz both had three hits tolead the offense - Cedric Mullins hit a homer in this one as well.
