The USF Bulls (7-3, 4-2 AAC) fell to Navy (8-2, 5-1 AAC) 41-38 on Saturday afternoon in Annapolis, Maryland.
The Bulls fell behind 14-3 early and trailed 24-9 at halftime. The Bulls were able to rally in the second half thanks to a couple of running touch downs from quarterback Byrum Brown, including a 3-yard run in the third and a 60-yard run in the fourth. They pulled within 27-24 early in the fourth quarter but could never pull closer, finishing the game with a three-yard loss.
Byrum Brown finished 23-for-32 with 327 yards and two touchdowns in the air - he also finished with an interception. On the ground, Brown ran for another 136 yards and a touchdown.
The Bulls are next in action when they travel to UAB on November 22nd.
