The Chicago White Sox (56-90) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (72-73) 6-5 on Wednesday night in Chicago to even the three-game series 1-1.
Yandy Diaz hit a solo homer in the first, but the White Sox answered with five runs in the second and another in the third to take a 6-1 lead. The Rays got three back in the fifth and one in the sixth to pull within 6-5, but that was as close as the Rays would get as the White Sox went on to win the game 6-5.
The Rays will look to win the series when they meet in the series finale on Thursday afternoon. First pitch Thursday is scheduled for 2:10 PM - pregame coverage begins with Ronnie Lane hosting Inside Pitch at 1:00 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
