Reds Complete Sweep of Rays

The Cincinnati Reds (56-50) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (53-53) 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. With the loss, the Rays were swept and are now back to .500 for the first time since they were 27-27 on May 28th.

Brady Singer (8-8, 4.60) was dominant, allowing just one earned run on three hits while striking out eight and walking one in seven and a third innings of work. The only blemish to his night came in the eighth inning when Taylor Walls hit a solo home run - that would be the only offense in the game for Tampa Bay.

The Rays now travel to New York to begin a four-game series against the Yankees beginning on Monday night. First pitch on Monday is scheduled for 7:05 PM - pregame coverage begins with the Inside Pitch at 6:00 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620, your Home of Rays Baseball.
