Rays Walk Off Brewers For Second Straight Win

The Tampa Bay Rays (18-21) defeated the Milwaukee Brewers (19-21) 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at Steinbrenner Field it Tampa. With the win, the Rays have won the interleague series against Milwaukee.

The Rays waited out the first weather delays at home in franchise history, starting the game 27 minutes late before having a 38-minute rain delay in the fifth. The game was tied 2-2 after the second rain delay, and would remain the score until Travis Jankowski hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Rays to the victory.

The Rays will now look to sweep the Brewers in the series finale coming up on Sunday. First pitch Sunday is scheduled for 1:40 PM - pregame coverage begins with Chris Adams-Wall hosting This Week In Rays Baseball at high noon on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
