A Tennessee fugitive, Devon Bart, was arrested on Friday (April 4) after taunting police on social media. The 25-year-old posted pictures daring the Shelby County Sheriff's Office to "come find him," which led to his swift capture. Bart, wanted on a warrant related to a domestic assault case, challenged authorities by stating that they would have to locate him first if he were to go to jail.
Chief Deputy Anthony Buckner emphasized the seriousness of the situation in a post on the department’s Facebook page, stating, "Evading deputies is not a game — ignoring the law has serious consequences." According to the New York Post, deputies successfully located and arrested Bart without incident, booking him into the Shelby County Jail.
The arrest serves as a reminder that law enforcement agencies take all warrants seriously and that attempts to evade capture, especially through public taunts, can lead to swift legal action.
