Prosecutors to Seek Death Penalty in Two High-Profile Pinellas Murder Cases

State prosecutors have filed notice that they will seek the death penalty in two high-profile murder cases in Pinellas County.

In the first case, Tomasz Kosowski is facing murder charges in the death of Largo attorney Steven Cozzi, whose body has still not been found after his disappearance from his office at Blanchard Law on South Belcher Rd. Cozzi was representing some of the defendants in a lawsuit in which Kosowski was the plaintiff.

In the meantime, prosecutors say they will also seek the death penalty for 21-year-old Thomas Mosley, who's accused of killing his 2-year-old son, Taylen, and the boy's mother in late March.

Pashun Jeffrey was found in her apartment with more than 100 stab wounds, while the child was found in the mouth of an alligator in Lake Maggiore the following day.
