Can You Help? Tampa Police need to ID Body Parts Found in McKay Bay

NOTE: A tattoo found on the victim's body is displayed below. Discretion advised.

TAMPA -- Police are asking for help in a death investigation that has become even more gruesome. After fishermen discovered a human leg Thursday in McKay Bay, an arm of Tampa Bay, police say more body parts were discovered late Friday morning.

A witness reported seeing someone throw something from a bridge, presumably the nearby 22nd Street Causeway, before those parts were discovered.

The victim has not been identified and police are asking for tips. There is a tattoo on the leg, just beneath the lower right calf. (Pictured below)

Anyone who recognizes the tattoo or has other information is asked to call TPD's non-emergency number, (813) 231-6130, or contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at (800) 873 TIPS.
