DADE CITY -- Florida's only Alpine snow park reopens for its second season Wednesday (November 10th) in Pasco County near Dade City, northeast of Tampa and west of Orlando.

Snowcat Ridge opened in 2020 to a strong reception and a great deal of interest. Its inaugural season ended early as management vowed to make improvements following issues with county permitting.

This year, marketing director Jon Pianki says around five million dollars has been invested in the park. New features include a new ice skating ribbon, private igloo rentals for parties and company and family events, and an expanded snow tubing hill with new tubes.

The park will be open most days until March 27th, weather permitting. Tickets range from $26.95 many days to $39.95 on days surrounding holidays.
