Palm Beach County Sheriff's officials have found human remains in the backyard of a home in Lake Worth.
The Palm Beach County Cold Case Squad received information about a possible body buried near Selberg Lane and Kirk Road.
Detectives obtained a search warrant on Thursday and with the assistance of graduate anthropologist students from Florida Gulf Coast University, they discovered the human remains.
The medical examiner’s office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
