TAMPA -- Another technology company establishes a presence in the Tampa Bay area.
Rapid7, based in Boston, says it plans to open an office in Tampa. It's moving into temporary quarters in Channelside with plans to find a permanent home here in 2022.
It plans to add about a hundred jobs here initially.
Rapid7, a security and automation provider, says Tampa is one of the top emerging tech cities in the U-S... and it hopes to recruit from our universities and military cybersecurity experts.
Rapid7 has nine offices in North America and about 14 others overseas.
