Two Months After Vanishing, Central Florida Man's Car Found in Lake

WINTER HAVEN -- Police say that they've found a car matching the description of one driven by a man who went missing exactly two months ago.

On August 11, Densley Brown, then 63, left his Palmetto Avenue home, telling his daughter he had chest pains and was driving himself to the hospital.

Detectives say they didn't find him at any area hospitals, nor at any locations he was known to frequent.

On Monday morning (Oct. 11), police received a call that a boater had seen a car underwater in Lake Martha, which is directly behind Winter Haven Hospital. The Polk Sheriff's Office Dive Team and Winter Haven police detectives have been on the scene.
