DORAL -- A teacher at a public school in Doral is off the job and facing charges, after police say she had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy she met when he was a student at her school.
Miami-Dade schools police tell NBC 6 they had been investigating 41-year-old Heiry Calvi since March, when they were told that the victim had shown friends a video of himself having sex with Calvi. She had been placed in a non-classroom position during the investigation.
Calvi is also accused of bringing a gun to campus. As of Friday night, she was jailed on $19,000 bond. The school district says it's in the process of firing her.
