Walmart Executives Will Have Easier Flights to Tampa Bay Area

TAMPA -- Some executives with a well known retailer will find it easier to visit the Tampa Bay area for business and pleasure.

Two airlines are adding service to Tampa Bay airports from Bentonville, Arkansas, best known as the headquarters city of Walmart.

Allegiant is adding nonstop flights from Bentonville - Northwest Arkansas National Airport to St Petersburg Clearwater airport beginning July 2nd, twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

Meantime, across the bay, a new airline called Breeze Airways, will fly nonstop from Tampa international to Bentonville, four times a week.

Allegiant is also adding service from St Petersburg-Clearwater to Provo Utah, while Breeze will fly to nine other cities from Tampa, including Louisville, Norfolk and Oklahoma City.
