Holiday, FL.(Florida News Network)-Pasco County -Pasco Fire Rescue is reporting a brush fire near Anclote High School in Holiday is now over 90 percent contained . According to the Pasco Fire and Rescue spokesman Corey Dierdoff, the fire was reported near homes on Banner Stone Court and Blue River Drive at around 12:30 Friday afternoon . Pasco County Fire Rescue placed several engines and brush trucks in the area to protect the homes. Evacuations were not ordered. Fire crews from the Florida Forest Service, Pinellas County, and Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Aviation assisted with battling the fire. The cause is under investigation.
