Tedd Webb's 'Celebration of Life' on AM Tampa Bay

Please join AM Tampa Bay tomorrow morning in remembering and sharing memories of 970 WFLA's very own radio legend Tedd Webb.

Tedd decided to stop dialysis this Friday and transition into hospice care after a long fight with his health issues.

Lee Ruiz, Tedd's son, took to Facebook to share the news shortly after his father posted on Facebook his decision to go into hospice. (See below)

Tedd retired back in 2017 after over 50 years on Tampa airways.

He co-hosted AM Tampa Bay with Jack Harris from 1994 to 2017 and truly made his mark in Tampa Community with his tremendous heart.

Everyone has a story about Tedd Webb, whether it was a story about a time "I remember when" or his charitable efforts or his constant way of making everyone around him feel welcomed and laugh.

Please join AM Tampa Bay tomorrow during the 8 o'clock hour so you can share your favorite memories with Teddy and celebrate his life.

The AM Tampa Bay family will his Teddy dearly, and his impact will forever live on in our hearts and in the studio of Newsradio WFLA.

In the wise words of Tedd Webb himself, "Live It Up."
