Margarita Gonzalez joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss how the The Tampa Bay Lightning named her as the sixth Lightning Community Hero of the season.
She received a $50,000 donation from the Lightning Foundation and the Lightning Community Heroes program and will donate all the money to the Latino Scholar’s Endowment at USF Foundation.
Through her 30-year career in community relations for the City of Tampa, she has dedicated her time and hard work to make it a better place in her work within the community.
