Kitchen Takeover Tuesday: Natalie's Extra Cheesy Mac

On Tuesdays, one of the AM Tampa Bay crew members shares a recipe from their kitchen. This week, Natalie's extra cheesy Mac & Cheese is on the menu! Try it out & let us know what you think! Here's how it's made!

Ingredients:

Two packages of Cracker Barrel Oven Baked Sharp Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese

4 tbsp. unsalted butter

One cup 2% milk

Cream Cheese (measure with love)

Extra Cheddar Cheese to sprinkle on top

Breadcrumbs

Panko Crumbs

If you want an easy Mac and Cheese recipe to make that will really WOW your friends and family, you have to try this.

Natalie's Extra Cheesy Mac & Cheese

Personally, I guestimate ingredients so feel free to add more and less of what's needed.

It's super easy:

  • Boil Water
  • Put mac in and cook 11 to 12 min. or until your desired taste
  • Once pasta is cooked, drain
  • Add ingredients, sauce packets, and spices that come with Cracker Barrel Oven Baked Sharp Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese along with the unsalted butter, milk, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese.
  • Stir it up good and then put it into a baking dish and sprinkle the bread crumbs provided and some panko crumbs on top.
  • Bake at the desired temp (whatever that means) for about 10 minutes till cheese is bubbling. I just tossed that bad boy in and hoped for the best. My advice, you bake it on whatever temperature your heart tells you to bake it at.
