TAMPA -- For the second year in a row, a Grand Prix race in St. Petersburg is changing its date because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg.. normally held in March to start the Indycar racing season... will move to April 23rd through 25th... organizers say that makes hosting a large number of fans more likely. It also keeps the live broadcast of the race on NBC television.
The 2020 Grand Prix was rescheduled to October, ending last year's Indycar racing season, because of COVD-19.
