Bradenton, Fl. (Florida News Network) Manatee County Sheriff's Office has released body cam video of the rescue of a homeless man---which took place last month in about two feet of water in Bowless Creek underneath a railroad bridge in Bradenton. The man told deputies he was trying to take a bath, and couldn't stand up because of a back injury. He said he'd been in the water for quite some time...and was suffering from the early stages of hypothermia. Because of the remoteness of the area, EMS was unable to reach the man with a stretcher, so deputies used a blanket to carry him about 250 yards down the railroad tracks.
