Jill Duggar Talks About Her Sex Life, Shuts Down Fan Who Shamed Her For It

Fans of the hit TLC series 19 Kids and Counting and it's follow-up, Counting On, are well aware that the female members of the Duggar family had a very strict upbringing - they couldn't watch TV or dance, they had to wear dresses or skirts since pants can hug curves, and they weren't allowed to date, rather they could only court, which means enter into a relationship with the intention of marrying that man. So it was a pretty big deal this week when Jill Duggar spoke about her sex life on Instagram.

In an IG story, the 29-year-old revealed she and her husband Derick like to keep their marriage "fun" by engaging in some "bedroom games." She went on to promote an app that offers those kinds of games.

Jill said, "Derick and I are always looking for ways to keep marriage exciting and fun. We came across the Intimately Us app - it was something I was excited about just for us to use. It's a fun and sexy app, it has tons of bedroom games just to help keep your marriage alive and romantic and we have just loved it."

As is often the case with her posts, trolls came out to shame her, with one person criticizing her for even mentioning such things. The commenter wrote:

"I'm glad you're excited about your marriage. We that are, are blessed. I would just warn against putting what you may or may not do in your private time as a husband and wife out in the public eye. Per your recommendation I googled marriage dance and chose not to actually click on it, I didn't want to accidentally see something I didn't want to see and have it on my computer to possible be an open door for temptation later or for my daughter to accidentally come across when she borrows my computer."

Jill actually responded, calmly stating, "Hey! It is a clean site (so no nudity or models), but I totally get wanting to be careful about what your kids are exposed to at young ages! Ours are still little so this isn't as big of a deal yet for us."

Jill, who married Derick in 2014 and has since had two sons with him, ages two and five, has gotten backlash before for getting personal. She recently told People that she is now on birth control, saying, "Growing up, it was ingrained in me that if you don't have as many kids as you're able to, that there's something wrong with that. But there was a shift in me where I felt like it wasn't wrong if you decide as a couple that it's best for you to wait. Children are a blessing, but that doesn't mean that at all costs you should have as many kids as possible."
