Tampa, Fl.(Florida News Network)- A Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy is recovering after being stabbed in the neck on Sunday afternoon. Deputies say they were called to a home in Lithia for a mental health evaluation. At some point, 21-year-old Nicholas Furgason ran into a wooded area, where, after a brief conversation, he pulled out a knife and stabbed Deputy Charles Williams. A second deputy brought Furgason down with a taser moments later. Williams was released from the hospital Monday morning, and is expected to be okay. This is body cam video of the incident.
