The Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup champions for the second time in history after beating the Dallas Stars 2-0 on Monday night in Edmonton, Canada.
There will be two events hosted by The Tampa Bay Lightning and the City of Tampa on Wednesday, September 30, to welcome the 2020 Stanley Cup Champions back to the Bay Area after being in the NHL "Bubble" in Toronto and Edmonton since July 26th.
Here is a list of events that will be held for fans to congratulate and celebrate the Lightning:
- The 2020 Stanley Cup Champions Boat Parade will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, on the city of Tampa Riverwalk/Hillsborough River.
- The 2020 Stanley Cup Champions Celebration will happen at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, at Raymond James Stadium. There will be free parking at 5:30 p.m., and doors open to the stadium at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are free, but you must claim them here & there will also be socially distant pod seating where you and your group up to 6 people can sit.
Social Distancing guidelines will be in effect at Raymond James Stadium.
