Rev. Rick Malivu joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss the United Way’s 9-11 Day of Service at the Franciscan Center.
Volunteers from The United Way, Suncoast, will be planting a “First Responders Peace Garden” at the Franciscan Center.
The garden will be a quiet and reflective place for first responders to go to while they are attending the Franciscan Center’s monthly retreat “Operation Restore”.
Operation Restore is a four-day retreat designed to help first responders, veterans, and military of all faiths, who suffer from chronic stress during their service to the community.
