5 Must-Do Attractions at the Florida Aquarium

On Thursday, Katie Butchino & Natalie Aquilia of AM Tampa Bay got the chance to head over to The Florida Aquarium to highlight some of their amazing animal encounters that visitors have the opportunity to do during their visits.

The first thing the girls dove into was the Shark Tank ProgramThis incredible experience allows guests to enjoy a swimming adventure alongside more than 1,000 fish including stingrays, barracudas, a sea turtle, and a sand tiger shark! 

The girls also saw a HUGE Moray Eel on their swim!

Following the Shark Swim Program, Katie and Natalie headed over to the African Penguin Encounter, where you get some up close and personal time with some adorable African Penguins! Not only do you get to pet them and interact with them, but you also get to learn a lot about their history and random facts about their life, along with see one of them go for a swim and see one of them eat, which was really quite the sight!

No Bone Zone

The No Bone Zone is a unique place where you can touch creatures with no backbone.

You'll touch anemones, sea cucumbers, sea stars, and more!

Moon Bay

At these exhibits, you'll be able to experience touching moon jellies. These jellyfish are translucent moon-like circular bells and have been in our oceans for 500 million years.

The Splash Zone 

The zone is family-friendly and has everything from water dump buckets, spray zones, and even a toddler zone.
