Justine Burke, Vice President of Marketing for Metropolitan Ministries, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss Metropolitan Ministries and iHeart Media to Host “Virtual Food Drive” Known as “LEON.
This year, LEON (N-O-E-L spelled backwards) will benefit individuals and families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, as an online food drive.
Historically, this has been a ‘Christmas in July’-type family event and donation drive for the holiday tent but this year will be held virtually online all day on June 25th.
LEON will help Metro Min stay ahead of the needs coming to us now, for the holiday season, and beyond.
The goal is to raise $100,00 and an anonymous donor will match donations, up to $50K total.
