Nathaniel Moore, Founder of Gowns4Good, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss Gowns4Good, an organization asking people to donate graduation gowns so that healthcare providers who desperately need PPE can be protected.
Medical facilities are lacking personal protective equipment (PPE) in the fight against COVID-19. Healthcare workers are using anything they can to protect themselves and their patients — even makeshift trash bag gowns.
Graduation gowns are more effective than other PPE alternatives given their length, sleeves, and easy zippered access.
