Shirley Dowling, an Author, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss tomorrow will mark the 40th anniversary since the Skyway bridge disaster happened.
The disaster happened on May 9, 1980, and Shirley wrote a book about the events called "Skyway Down."
The book is fiction written against a backdrop of two real-life maritime tragedies in the year 1980 at the Sunshine Skyway bridge.
