Belinda Leto, Celebrate Birthdays Non-Profit Co-Founder, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss how Celebrate Birthday's helps foster children in the community have birthdays all year long and even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Celebrate Birthday's parties have been cancelled since end of March so their need for Birthdays in a Box have increased.
They are hoping to resume parties at our partnering organizations in early Summer if all is well.
One unique way you can help child during enjoy their birthday during the pandemic is by donating a Birthday Box.
The cost to sponsor a Birthday for a child right now and provide them this Box & Toy is $25.
What items come in a Birthday Box:
- Cake Mix
- Frosting
- Tablecloth
- Streamer
- Party Favors (Blow Outs, Horns, etc)
- Forks
- Paper Plates
- Napkins
- Candles
- Decorations
- Balloons
- Party Hats
- Small Party Games (Playing Cards, Puzzles, Pin the Tail, etc)
- Cups
- Any extras can be included such as Centerpieces for Tables, Photo Props, Activities or small Toys
They are also in need of Handmade Birthday Cards to place in all of our Birthday Boxes.
