Sgt. Joseph R. Bitz, United States Marine Corps (Retired) Spokesperson Paramount Testing Solutions LLC, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss how rapid coronavirus testing works.
The test are given to healthcare professionals with National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers, Government organizations, and First Responders.
Paramount works to educate the local community about this valuable testing that is authorized pursuant to the FDA's Emergency Use Act (EUA) guidelines.
Test results are produced within 5-15 minutes and their lab is the only one granted a National Drug Code (NDC) for its rapid test.
There have been orders as small as 25 tests per kit (case by case) or large orders of 1,000,000 or more.
The price per kit is $79 and shipping typically takes less than 2 weeks, depending on order size.
