Russian Jeweler Selling Coronavirus Pendants

A jeweler in Russia is selling coronavirus pendants, and not everyone is happy about it.

The sterling silver necklace is shaped like the coronavirus and is selling for about $20.

There are comments online of people saying wearing the pendant is intensive, but that was not the intent when creating the necklace.

According to Reuters, "When the first microscopic images of the coronavirus emerged a few months ago, Dr. Vorobev, a jewelry firm based in Kostroma, a city around 300 kilometers (186 miles) northeast of Moscow, thought the intricately-shaped virus could become a good addition to its collection."

People who have purchased the pendant have been sharing it on social media.
