U.S. Representative Ross Spano joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss what goes into the Payroll Protection Program in the CARES Act.
Unemployment numbers are through the roof, and a majority of those who filed unemployment claims were small business employees who have been laid off due to closure of no fault of their own.
Rep.Spano has led the charge in making sure small businesses have access to capital/loans (which can be forgiven up to 100%) to help small business owners keep people on payroll and meet their financial obligations.
The Payroll Protection Program can help thousands of Tampa Bay Area small businesses stay afloat and their employees paid.
