Danielle Sullivan, Co-Founder of The Mask Project Tampa Bay, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss The Mask Project of Tampa Bay.
The Mask project is a group of volunteers making mask for healthcare workers in the Tampa Bay Area community during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Penny Foote founded the group on Friday, March 20th, and on March 21st, Penny and Danielle were already on their way to work on their 5th fundraiser/community drive together since 2015.
The Mask Project has grown from 0 to 1,300 members (as of 3.24 @ 3pm) and are still growing.
