5 Cheap & Easy Dinner Recipes To Make At Home During Quarantine

With restaurants closing all around the state amid COVID-19, here are a few CHEAP & EASY dinner recipes to make right at home with minimal ingredients!

1. Crockpot BBQ Chicken

This is sure to be a household favorite! Forget the virus, this could be cooked anytime and still win over the whole house! Best part?

There's only 3 ingredients!!!

All you need is some chicken, half a can of root beer (or whichever dark soda you prefer) and of course, your favorite BBQ Sauce. (I personally use Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce)

The directions are SO easy! Put 4-5 Chicken breasts into your slow cooker with your half a can of rootbeer and cook for 3-4 hours... shred & drain MOST (not all) of the liquid and add in your BBQ sauce and salt & pepper and cook another 20 minutes. Place it on some rolls (or don't) and you're done! Dinner is served. Recipe from https://hip2save.com/

2.Italian Sausage & Peppers In A Bag

This recipe is both tasty and has just a few ingredients. It cooks all in one bag in the oven, making everything super simple!

You will however need a large oven bag for this, just like the one you use for the Turkey at Thanksgiving!

You will simply preheat the oven according to the box of the oven bag, fill it with your favorite Italian Sausage & chopped peppers (and onions if you desire)

Place the filled bag into the oven, obviously in a pan, and cook until the sausage is done & the vegetables are fork-tender.

Enjoy!! :) Recipe from https://www.reynoldskitchens.com/
