Nashville Tornado Leaves Behind Mass Destruction

A devastating tornado ripped through Nashville, Tennessee, last night, leaving mass destruction and several people dead.

A powerful storm system came through central Tennessee Tuesday morning that had at least 2 tornadoes causing devastating storm damage near downtown Nashville and leaving several dead.

According to FOX News, "Metro Nashville police officers and fire crews were responding to about 40 building collapses around the city as neighborhoods were littered with blown-down walls and roofs, snapped power lines and huge broken trees."

Pictures are surfacing of the damage, and the storm has heavily impacted iconic spots in music city.

Some schools in the area were already closed for Super Tuesday Voting. However, voting will be closed another week or so due to the storm damage.
