A postal worker from Chesapeake, Virginia, rented a storage unit for mail he never delivered.
He felt pressure to deliver the mail on his shifts and couldn't finish.
Instead of telling his bosses that he couldn't finish his mail deliveries, he rented storage until for $49 a month and put all the mail he couldn't deliver in it.
The man never destroyed the mail, but about 5,000 pieces of mail were found in a unit in Virginia Beach.
Most of the mail found in the unit was advertisements, but the man could face a fine and up to 5 years in prison.
