Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss there is still an Amber Alert out for missing newborn baby from Miami after the father was found dead in Pasco County.
According to WFLA, "Deputies say Ernesto Caballeiro was found dead Wednesday afternoon in the woods with a self-inflicted gun shot wound. His son Andrew Caballiero hasn't been located and a search is still underway for the newborn."
Pasco deputies are working with the Miami Police Department and searching a rural area of Blanton near I-75.
Ernesto Caballeiro's body was believed to be found near the vehicle that he was driving and that there was no sign of a car seat, but a blonde woman might have been with him.
Sheriff Nocco is asking if anyone has any information to contact their local law enforcement so they can hopefully bring home the newborn baby.
