A California man got a crazy surprise Christmas morning when he opened up his brand new waffle maker only to find a crusty waffle inside of it.
The waffle maker was from Amazon and was defiantly used before the man opened it.
Below you'll see a picture of the teal waffle maker with the cooked waffle inside.
Amazon quickly replied and apologized for what had happened:
According to TODAY the, "Waffle maker was not advertised as used or refurbished, and McCarthy shared a screenshot of the order to verify that it was actually sold by Amazon Prime and not a third-party seller."
Regardless of what happened, it's pretty gross to receive anyone's old food, especially in a product you think is brand new.
It sounds like Amazon took care of the problem ASAP but still can't believe the seller didn't check the product before sending it.
